_R_e_a_d _a _P_o_i_n_t _P_r_o_c_e_s_s _O_b_j_e_c_t _f_r_o_m _a _F_i_l_e

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     Read a file in standard format and create a point process object.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     ppinit(file)

_A_r_g_u_m_e_n_t_s:

    file: string giving file name 

_D_e_t_a_i_l_s:

     The file should contain

     the number of points
      a header (ignored)
      xl xu yl yu scale
      x y (repeated n times)

_V_a_l_u_e:

     class '"pp"' object with components 'x', 'y', 'xl', 'xu', 'yl',
     'yu'

_S_i_d_e _E_f_f_e_c_t_s:

     Calls 'ppregion' to set the domain.
